What would Labour Party have done?
I wonder what Labour councilors and MPs want. On one hand they say Mr. Ray Honeyford must not make statements which are merely his own views or opinions and on the other hand they are supporting Clive Ponting who has leaked secret information, which could lead the country into a very dangerous situation. It could put the country at risk especially where value of currency, defense and foreign affairs are concerned and also social services, social security and health departments are in the same category.
His action is a bad influence. He had a position of trust which he betrayed. 1 wonder how the Labour Party would cope in a situation like this if they were in power. Would not they be worried about the leaking of the information where confidentiality is essential?
